Cabin 10 is our budget-friendly option for guests travelling with pets. This quaint little cabin sits in a peaceful grassed area near the family cabins – quiet enough that you and your four-legged mate can relax, but close enough to everything that the kids can easily wander to the playground.
The bedroom area has a double bed with electric blanket and fresh linen on newly laid carpet, plus a set of double bunks for the kids. Linen packs provided free of charge for all beds. A curtained archway separates the sleeping area from the living space, giving you a bit of privacy without feeling closed in.
The ensuite with shower is compact but has everything you need – and means no late-night walks across the park when nature calls. The living area is surprisingly spacious with a comfortable two-seater couch, four-seater dining table, and TV.
The kitchen comes equipped with a small oven, fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle, plus cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery. You can cook proper meals here, though like most guests, you’ll probably find yourself eating outside more often than not.
Here’s what makes this cabin special for pet owners: the small fenced patio. Your dog can get outside, enjoy the fresh air and sunshine, and have a sniff around without you worrying about them wandering off. It’s a small thing that makes a big difference when you’re travelling with pets.
There’s no river view from this cabin, but a short walk through the grassed quadrangle takes you straight to the riverbank. The park’s off-lead dog area is also nearby for when your mate needs a proper run around.
This cabin suits couples or small families who want comfortable, affordable accommodation without the frills – and who aren’t willing to leave the dog at home. It’s honest, unpretentious, and does exactly what it promises.
