Our Deluxe Riverview Cabins (Cabins 8 & 9) offer the best of both worlds – all the comforts you need inside, with the Murray River just a short walk away. These two-bedroom cabins sleep up to six and work well for families with kids or two couples travelling together.
The main bedroom features a comfortable double bed with electric blanket provided, sitting alongside the full ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom has a double bed plus a set of bunks, giving you flexibility for families with children of different ages. Both bedrooms are carpeted with ample storage space, and ceiling-mounted fans keep things comfortable on warm nights.
Between the bedrooms you’ll find the open-plan kitchen and living area. The kitchen has everything you need for self-catering – cooktop, microwave, fridge, toaster and kettle, plus all the cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery you’d expect. That said, most guests find themselves cooking and eating outdoors, which is really what Murray River holidays are all about.
The living area includes a TV and reverse-cycle air conditioning for year-round comfort. Linen is provided for the main beds, and single linen kits are available for the bunks if needed.
Step outside onto your covered deck with table and chairs, shaded by surrounding trees. From here you can keep an eye on the kids at the nearby playground and pool while you enjoy a cold drink. The Murray River is just a short walk away – grab your fishing rod and try your luck, or simply find a spot on the riverbank to watch the water drift by.
These cabins strike that sweet spot between camping holiday and home comforts. You’re part of the park with access to all facilities, but you’ve got your own private space to retreat to. They’re particularly popular with families staying for a week or more, using Barham as a base to explore the Murray River region.
